measurement : we need two measures from you: width and height of the window treament:

for valance only: you want to add at least 6 Inches ( 3” on each side ) of the window width curtain rod you use when you order online.

For a full valance curtain set ; you might need two rods and add 6 to 8 inches to the width of the window frame to get the width for the curtains set , so you can make sure that the window will be fully covered by both the drape panels and valance

For a valance curtain set , you can choose the desired height ( from where you want to hang the curtains to the floor)

Installation: for valance curtain set : we recommend using two single rods of 1 to 2” in diameter: top one is for the valance with swags and tails and lower one for the curtains panels

Brackets: the brackets for the panel rods should be installed at least 3” below and inside those for the valance rod.

The brackets for the valance rod should be at least 3” longer than those for the panel rod. This way you can leave some clearance between the valance and the underneath curtain panels.
